Tasty Berries on Compact Plant

Get Fruit Your First Year
No waiting
for these delicious berries. We've groomed and nurtured the Top Hat Blueberry to perfection, so when you receive yours' - just plant it and watch it deliver bright blueberries quickly. It's self-pollinating, but you'll get a lot more fruit if you couple it with another blueberry bush planted nearby. We have a large selection that pair perfectly with the Top Hat.

Flavor Packs a Punch
If you love the flavor of blueberries, you'll be amazed at how much more flavorful these berries taste, compared to store-bought varieties. The small, firm fruit is loaded with extreme flavor, perfect for grabbing by the handful - or including in salads, jams, sauces, and of course - BAKING.

You'll Have Many Options for Placement
Maturing at only 2 feet tall, there are multiple places to plant yours. They're an impressive addition to your patio, and since they perform best with a "partner" nearby - its size is an asset. These do well as a container plant, whether placed on a deck or amongst your flower garden. Add color to small spaces - or your landscape - while still enjoying the bounty of delicious fruit. You can also bonsai the Top Hat!

Surprising Colorful Blooms
The vivid blue berries are the star of this plant, but its foliage and classic white blossoms are close competitors if you're measuring beauty. It's the only blueberry variety that bursts with colors respective to the seasons. Small white flowers emerge in the spring and dance amongst perfect, glossy green foliage. The contrast of colors between the three is impressive. As autumn rolls around and you've harvested all of your amazing berries, the Top Hat has one more offering. The foliage turns shades of orange and bright red before dropping for the winter. This is unusual for most blueberry varieties. When you want to add color to any setting, this is an excellent choice.

Both plants are surviving but surprised the soil they came in was not acidic (shouldbe between 4. 5 and 5. 5ph) See meter reading ! Planted in amended soil of 5. 5 ph. We’ll see how they do .

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Mike! Thanks for your feedback. It’s possible that the soil pH shifted during storage or shipping, especially if it dried out or was exposed to different materials in transit. Blueberries thrive in acidic conditions, so we’re glad to hear you amended the soil. Keep us posted on their progress and reach out if you need any help.
