I planted it the day
I planted it the day after it arrived. New leaves are growing. This is the third order I have gotten and all of the plants are doing good.

Surprisingly hardy yet beautiful vine
This is the third year I’ve had this vine and it’s doing SO well, I wanted to post another review and update about it because it is such a lovely plant. As I said before, the ones I received arrived bent and broken the first time. I subsequently ordered more and they were not as bent and broken. But even that first batch of clematis vines have done so well despite them looking so fragile. I’m posting an image of one from that first arrival that I put in a pot and is the third year with such amazing bloom production. I live in central Texas and the winter was wind chill 12 and summer was over 100. This little vine is beautiful and so amazingly hardy.

The Clematis arrived in good condition. It had nice top growth. The most exceptional thing was the excellent root growth. I planted the vine as per your instructions. I used a root growth stimulant when I planted it. Within five days two buds had set on. The vines are already wrapping around the trellis and putting on new growth. These pictures mark the second week being in the ground.
