Planting & Care
1. Planting: It’s super easy to maintain: Pollinated by honey bees, pet safe (as long as your pets don’t eat it), and relatively fast-growing, gaining 24 to 30 inches in one growing season. But your Lavender Standard needs proper care!
Start by selecting a location with full sun (at least 6 hours of sun per day) and well-drained soil. Then, dig a hole that’s at least two or three times wider than your plant’s root ball. Once you’ve placed your plant, back fill its soil, tamp down to avoid air pockets and lastly, water to help establish its roots.
2. Watering: Simply water your Lavender Standard as the weather dictates – and allow any water to drain so that your roots do not become oversaturated. As long as soil is well-drained (but not overdry), your Lavender Standard should thrive.
If you’re not sure when to water your plant, however, simply check its surrounding soil, down to around 2 or 3 inches. If you feel that the soil is dry, it’s time to water to moistness.
Estimated Shipping Time: Most orders ship immediately. As noted on the website, some items are seasonal, and may only ship in spring or fall. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number.

Very good packaged well.adjusting to transplant.
When my plant arrived it seemed to have been without water or light for a while. Since I have ordered quite a few medicinal herb plants from all over the country I just followed rules on how to take care of this beauty. I watered it deeply and kept it in the house for a couple days in a window with indirect light. I made sure the soil was moist then watered heavily and moved it outside under a shady open porch with a little more light. It's been about a week now and the plant seems to have stretched its legs a bit and doesn't seem so squished from shipping. I'll move it into an area with more light in a day or two so the essential oils have a chance to really infuse the plant. I'm really happy with how lovely this Lavendula is.
Beautiful plant and came bloomed and ready to plant..smells great!
