anouk purple flare lavender plant

planted last week and then temperatures rose to high 90s. wondering if the bloom on plant will get any bigger or turn into a flower

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Luanna, Thank you for sharing your update! Getting hit with 90-degree weather right after planting is tough, but your Anouk Lavender is a sun-loving variety that can definitely handle the heat once it settles in. Right now, because of the sudden temperature spike, your plant is focusing entirely on root survival rather than growing its current flowers larger. The current blooms will likely hold their current size or dry out a bit early as the plant protects itself. The great news is that Spanish Lavender is a wonderful rebloomer. Keep it watered deeply twice a week during this heat, and once the weather stabilizes, give the plant a light trim. Snipping off those initial flower stalks will encourage a fresh, beautiful round of larger blooms to pop up!
