A Popular Low Maintenance and Convenient Plant for Your Home

Dracaena Massangeana Cane, also known as “Mass Cane” or “Corn plant”, is a very popular interior plant because of its adaptability to indoor lighting conditions, compact size and slow growth that helps it to fit in particular spaces of your home for a long period of time! It also helps that it’s easy to own. This plant only requires water once a week (or less!)  It’s perfect for first-time plant owners as well as those who are often away from home.  If you’re a professional who travels frequently, you won’t need to worry about your plant.  The Dracaena Massangeana Cane requires little attention and should be in good shape upon your return.   It’s a slow-grower, so there will be little need to prune.

Furthermore, there is no need to second-guess the best location to place it when growing indoors.  Unlike some varieties that can have you moving it from room to room until you determine its sweet spot, you can place it practically anywhere from a dull hallway to a spot with bright indirect light, and it will thrive.

Brighten up Your Interior with Huge Lively Green Leaves with Belts of Yellow Strips
While the Corn Plant makes a statement with a growth pattern similar to a corn stalk, it includes the added bonus:  large, sturdy bright green leaves that bare a yellow stripe. It is amongst the most popular houseplants because of its interesting features. If you’re considering growing it as a focal point or accent piece, you’ll be pleased with its subtle yet classic appearance.

There are multiple uses indoors.  Experiment with placing it in different rooms throughout your home. It doesn’t have problems with switching locations. As it grows, you can flawlessly transport it to an interior entrance or hallway as a stunning floor arrangement.

Several Ways to Decorate with This Lavish Plant

If you’re considering this easy-going, flexible gem as a floor plant, it can grow up to 12 feet tall and is most impressive when you combine a few of them in the same container. In this case we recommend you stagger their heights to ensure the most robust and lush appearance.

If you’re in the appropriate zone to grow outdoors, make sure the temperature remains between 65-80 degrees Fahrenheit and it’s in a high humidity area.  Unlike indoor Canes, when planted outside, you can expect flowers to bloom on your plant as it grows up to 15 feet tall!

We can deliver this classic, no fuss beautiful plant right to your door.  Order Now!

Amazing House Plant!
All I can say is WOW! I was not expecting this plant to arrive out of the box like this! It is huge and stunning. It’s been in a box for 4 days! It has 3 staggered heights and the main trunks are thick and heavy. The leaves are vibrant and it’s such an incredible accent piece to my home! So very pleased with my purchase and you won’t be disappointed if you order one! I haven’t taken the plastic wrap off yet as I need to support the trunks better as some soil was spiked in transit, but it is a magnificent plant!

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your 'Dracaena' Corn Plant

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your 'Dracaena' Corn Plant.

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your 'Dracaena' Corn Plant gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your 'Dracaena' Corn Plant again after the transplant is complete.

If I order the one with the pot for indoor, do I need to take the soil out and re-pot it or can I leave it?

BEST ANSWER: I bought the one with the nice pot, but still replanted it as I just felt it could use a larger container. It is a massive plant and you will love it right out of the box!
