A Dwarf Redwood With Radiant Fall Foliage

Redwoods are awe-inspiring, pre-historic trees, but they’re often too big to grow in a yard.

With the Amberglow Redwood, you can enjoy the ancient history and magnificence of the Redwood all in a compact size

Even better, the Amberglow is a variety of the Dawn Redwood, which is a deciduous tree with needled foliage…

In other words, your tree will give you ornamental value in spring, summer and fall!

The bright green foliage is tipped with burgundy during the spring and summer.

While the fall foliage turns an attractive orange.

· Grows to only 15’-20’ – your tree will fit perfectly in your yard, even if it’s small

· No maintenance to worry about – disease-free, fast growing and highly adaptable, your tree will easily grow without a fuss.

· Pyramidal growth – not only does the pyramid shape make this tree visually appealing, it also means no pruning!

This very fast growing tree will be a standout feature in your yard in just a couple of years.

Perfect as a standalone, your neighbors and guest will be awe-struck by the ancient Redwood growing in your yard.

It was once thought that Dawn Redwoods were extinct. When these unique redwoods with stunning fall foliage were discovered to still be thriving in China, they became prized.

Don’t miss out on your chance to grow a well-loved and sought-after tree. Order yours today!

We do not have them yet. We delayed shipping until September because of the excessive heat. As soon as we receive them, we will plant them. I am sure we will be happy with our purchase as we intend to by three more soon.

To Early to tell
This tree needs a lot of water. They said it could handle full sun but we need to water it everyday or the leaves start to drop off. It's been planted since 6/9/18 so it has been in the ground for almost a month. Doesn't look like it it growing at all for something that is suppose to be a fast growing tree.

Great potential
The little Amberglow Redwood will fulfill an important purpose of giving us some privacy and beauty. At the moment it looks healthy after a month in the ground.
I regret not spending more and getting a tree that will not take 10 years to reach substantial size. But what’s 10 years in the life of earth?

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Amberglow™ Redwood

Amberglow™ Redwood Planting Diretions

Plant your Amberglow Redwood in well-draining soil and in a spot that receives full sun. Place in a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. There's no need to amend the soil, but do add a thick layer of mulch around the base to retain moisture.

Watering: Make sure your Amberglow Redwood receives one inch of water each week, and more if you live in a dry, drought-prone area. Rain is usually enough to keep it hydrated, but you'll likely need to water the establishing tree.

Maintenance: There is no pruning, fertilizing or pest and disease management necessary with the Amberglow Redwood.

Does this tree lose all of its needle foliage in the fall/ winter?
Amy M on Apr 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is deciduous.
How far do i need to plant the tree from the house?
R D on Feb 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would plant it at least 10ft away from a structure.
Will the amber glow redwood do ok in Zone 5?
Marilyn W on Jul 15, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I live in western Washington near beach that I think is zone 9. This tree is truly fast growing. I have only had for a couple of months and already doubled in size. Already changing colors also. I don't know how this will over winter here but very hopeful. Not sure about your zone but the seller should know. They have been great to work with
How fast does it grow?
Ben L on Aug 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I only bought this tree this spring and we live on the coast so sure that could affect but when I got the tree it was about a foot tall. It is now over 3 feet high and already has been changing colors. It is growing well and even small is a lovely tree. It is growing much quicker than 2 other trees I bought at same time.
Is this tree an Evergreen?
Heidi Y on Oct 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I am not “Brookeood Aparttments” but I did buy the tree as a gift to be planted there as a memorial for someone. I did see the tree after it was planted, but I live several stTes away and do not know the answer.
Is it deer resistant?
Diana G on Jul 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: My guess is no. We’ve put “cages” around ours and the deer have still attempted to nibble away. We’ve found 2 cages crumpled up yards away from the trees and can only guess that the deer has gotten its head stuck and took off at a gallop, freaked out trying to get the thing that was attacking it off its head!
Are the roots below or above the ground ?
Juanita P on May 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Not from what I’ve seen with mature trees. Mine are small right now
