Scarlet Letter™ Oak Tree

1. Planting: Choose a location that receives full sunlight and has well-draining soil. It’s best to plant your Scarlet Letter™ Oak in the spring or early fall. Dig a hole that is twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Place the tree in the center, making sure that the root flare is level with the soil surface. Backfill with soil and water thoroughly to eliminate air pockets.

2. Watering: During the first few years of growth, ensure that the tree receives deep watering once a week, especially in dry weather. Once established, the Scarlet Letter™ Oak may tolerate drought, but regular watering during prolonged dry spells will support vigorous growth.

3. Pruning: Prune your oak during the dormant season to maintain its shape and remove any dead or damaged branches. Light pruning can enhance air circulation and sunlight penetration, but avoid excessive removal of branches, as this can stress the tree.

4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring to encourage healthy growth. A slow-release fertilizer can provide ongoing nutrients throughout the growing season. Be careful not to over-fertilize, as this can harm the tree's roots.
