Planting & Care
2. Watering: Water deeply and regularly during your Waxleaf’s first growing season to establish its root system – this typically means watering about once a week, or when the surrounding soil is dry. Check for soil dryness about 2 to 3 inches down in the surrounding soil.
3. Fertilizing: Feed your Waxleaf Privet Shrub with a general-purpose fertilizer in early spring, before new growth begins.
4. Pruning: If you want a neater, tidier appearance for your Waxleaf Privet, prune or shear annually in winter to shape it. If you’re shaping to your desired size and shape, prune as often as needed.
You can still order, but due to cold weather, we have delayed shipping to the areas shaded on the map below. We want your new plant to thrive right out of the box, so we will wait on shipping your order until the weather is ideal. This includes anyone in

So far so good
Arrived healthy, doing well.
The plants arrived quickly and were bigger and better than expected. The plants were way better than anything we could find locally and the price was comparable. Definitely will be a repeat customer and highly recommend.
We had a great experience ordering 20 waxleaf privet hedges. They arrived quickly, and in good condition (kudos to FedEx as well transporting them across the country). They were planted about a week ago, and are still doing great. They were exactly what we were hoping for.
Our privet arrived in excellent condition. It's been 3 weeks since planting and it seems to be thriving. Very happy so far with this purchase.
We were so impressed how healthy the trees were when they showed up,even across the country with a weather delay. Nice job you guys ! We would definitely order from Fast growing trees again! Danielke
