A Dense Hedge of Color, Quickly

Why Tri-Color Dappled Willow Shrubs?

The Tri-Color Willow Hedge Shrub, or 'Dappled Willow', is an amazing new shrub that can be planted to form a colorful 8 to 10-foot privacy hedge. Heavy branching means that the stunning Tri-Color Willow grows quickly and beautifully.

In fact, you can expect a full hedge after the first few growing seasons, along with ethereal beauty that makes an effortlessly elegant statement. Even better? It's easy to prune if you want it kept short.

And its rounded or weeping silhouette makes it a great accent plant as well. Put one at the corner of your home to liven up dull spots with vivacious, eye-catching vibrancy.

Plus, new growth emerges with a rich pink tint that leaves a fresh impression. During spring, your Dappled Willow Shrub will come alive, with an array of branches full of light green foliage and a hint of white on each leaf. The Tri-Color truly lives up to its name in color variation and graceful good looks.

What is a Jumbo Tri-Color Dappled Willow Shrub?

Jumbo shrubs are the most mature shrubs offered at Fast Growing Trees. Thanks to their well-developed root systems and large container size, they provide excellent drought resistance and improved nutrient absorption. Jumbos are ideal for creating immediate privacy and adding fullness to your garden beds without the wait.

Grown in limited quantities, Jumbo shrubs are perfect for homeowners who want fast results and a lasting impression in their landscape.

These are my favorite shrubs on the planet, they are just fine!

I have had these before in other climates (colder climates). The cold we recently had were nothing for these guys, they look just like they do in the other parts of the country where it is colder. I will be planting them in 2 weeks and they will be a-ok.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Becky, we appreciate your enthusiasm. Tri Color Willow is known for its resilience, and it is great to hear yours are holding up beautifully. Wishing you a smooth planting in a couple of weeks and lots of vibrant color ahead.

Tri-Color Dappled Willow

I don't know yet,. . . planted in the fall and followed the instructions for care . . . then snow came . . . so we'll see

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi, thanks for sharing. Fall planting followed by snow can make it hard to tell right away, but that’s completely normal. Spring should give a clearer picture, and we’re here anytime if you need help.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Linda, thanks for sharing the update. It’s great to hear they’ve survived so far. Growth can be slower at first, but willows often pick up as the season progresses. Please reach out anytime if you need help.
