Dwarf Bushes Deliver the Best Pie Cherry Available

Why Romeo and Juliet™ Cherry Bushes?

Searching for the perfect cherry but don't have much room in your garden? Look no further than the Romeo and Juliet™ Cherry Bushes, two dwarf specimen bushes that do the work for you while taking very little space.

This two-pack is ideal for small spaces. If your gardening space is limited, these bushes fit the bill...literally. Because they only grow to 5 to 8 feet tall and come in an easy pack for pollination, you can plant them almost anywhere and get up to 25 pounds of cherries each season!

Plus, they deliver one of the sweetest pie cherries available. The deep-red Romeo and Juliet™ Cherry ushes give you sugary flavor with the perfect note of acidity, making for a rich, complex taste that complements your favorite recipes. And since each cherry has a smaller pit, you get more fruit than ever before.

Even better is the fact that this duo is hardy to -40 degrees. Nothing can stop the Romeo and Juliet™ Cherry Bushes from producing delicious, home-grown fruit! And though it takes about three years to get fruit, it's worth the wait...you've never experienced cherries this flavorful.

These plants share the same pot while they’re growing in our nursery. While this is ok when the plants are young, we highly suggest separating them when they arrive at your home.

Hard to separate the twotrees

overall good. I found it hard to seperate the two bushes. I was concerned that they both would have enough rootball to survive. They seem to be doing ok.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Lori, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We are so happy to hear that your Romeo and Juliet cherry bushes are settling in nicely after their planting day. We completely understand why separating those intertwined rootballs made you nervous. Because these two bushes are paired up early in life to ensure excellent cross-pollination, their root systems naturally weave together tightly in the container. Don't worry if the rootballs looked a bit smaller than expected after you divided them, as dwarf cherries are highly resilient and excellent at bouncing back from minor transplant stress. With a little consistent water this summer, those roots will expand beautifully!

Not that sweet and difficult to separate

Overall healthy bush doing well

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Evgenia, so glad it's healthy and doing well! Just a helpful note on the flavor, Romeo and Juliet is actually a tart and sour cherry variety so it won't taste like a fully sweet cherry. They're wonderful for cooking and baking though! On the separation question this bush is multi-grafted meaning the varieties grow together on the same plant so there's no need to separate them. Hope that helps and enjoy those cherries!

Beautiful Blossoms

When they arrived, I did have trouble splitting them. The roots were tightly bundled together. But they are growing nicely. I loved at all the blossoms that appeared last month. I have recipes ready for the cherries they will produce.
