Why Red Ruffle Azalea Shrubs?
Few shrubs are as captivating as the Red Ruffle, with its vibrant red flowers and frilly texture that's second to none. Signaling winter's end and spring's beginning, the Red Ruffle Azalea shows color when other perennials don't and does it all in a delightfully compact size.
Plus, each petal is outlined with a frilly, ruffled edge. So, you get extra volume, especially since Red Ruffle delivers a ton of 3-inch blooms that grow so densely, you almost can't see the foliage. In fact, many of them are semi-double blooms!
And when its flowers fade, the Red Ruffle's evergreen foliage still grows on and on. Some types of azaleas are deciduous, but the Red Ruffle Azalea offers dark-green foliage for a lush complement to other plants and shrubs in your landscape.
Red Ruffle packs an amazing punch in a dwarf size. If you adore azaleas, but you don't have room in your smaller landscape for a large specimen, Red Ruffle is your solution. Even better? It can perform in shade gardens. Unlike other flowering varieties that fail to reliably bloom in shade, it's a stellar performer outside full sun. From mass plantings along your driveway to overcast areas that need a bit more color or even containers next to your entryways, the Red Ruffle Azalea makes the perfect statement.

Great Customer Service
Well this was an experience. We ordered raspberry plants and citrus trees a few weeks ago and they all arrived perfectly. We had such a great experience that we made another order and bought multiple red and pink ruffle azaleas and a goji berry plant. Initially, we got an alert that the goji berry plant had been delivered but it was actually our azaleas. We were short two azaleas, a few arrived with broken branches, several were wilted and required a ton of pruning, and 2 were crushed. Some of it was just normal shipping stress and some was due to FedEx really jostling the plants around. However, the azaleas were also crammed into the boxes, right on top of each other, making it very easy for them to break/smother. I know we had a large order but there has to be a better way to ship these. . . Regardless, customer service was great and helped me submit a form to resolve all of the above issues. A few days later, right before midnight (thanks OnTrac), the missing azaleas and goji berry plant that was supposedly delivered a few days prior were delivered. It looks like the company accidentally mixed up the tracking info on the items. I reached back out to customer service to let them know the missing items had arrived but I still needed help with the damaged plants. They gave me a refund d/t the red azalea being out of stock at that time and replaced one of the pink ruffle azaleas, which arrived this week in great condition. We have all of them planted now. So far, only one red azalea bush has flowers but several pink ones have flowers. Still waiting to see if the ones that were damaged bounce back so fingers crossed.
Red Azalea bush
Leaves were a little wilted upon arrival. Planted within two days, looks better. Hoping for the best.
No Problems Just WEEDs
It is doing beautiful despite all the weeds and annuals growing around it. I will try to send photo later.
