Rare Variety Delivers Bold Red Foliage + White Blooms
Why Red Rhapsody® False Hydrangea Vines?
A rare selection that's highly sought-after (and nearly impossible to find at most big-box garden centers), the Red Rhapsody® False Hydrangea Vine gives you dramatic red foliage in spring with contrasting cream lacecap-like blooms.
This self-climbing variety is vigorous, cloaking your home in color that's second to none. Plus, it's deciduous, so it shades walls in summer but lets the sun in during winter, saving energy. The Red Rhapsody®'s clinging habit climbs fences, arbors, and beyond gently, giving you dimensional color that's nearly carefree.
The Red Rhapsody® False Hydrangea Vine thrives in nearly any garden space, even in full shade. This versatile selection transforms your landscape, upgrading your curb appeal effortlessly. Part of the Schizophragma family, related to Hydrangeas and giving you the same showy flower heads, the blooms of the Red Rhapsody® are even better since they shine in shaded gardens.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Your vine will grow best in moist, well-drained soil. There's no need to amend your soil when planting. Be sure to also plant in a sunny area with an area to cling, such as a wall, trellis, pergola, or arbor.
When you're ready to plant, dig a hole that's about twice the size of your vine's root ball and just as deep, place your vine, and then backfill the soil. Finally, water the surrounding area to settle the roots.
If you're planting in a container, use supports for clinging purposes, select a pot that's about twice the size of your plant's shipped container, and use organic soil. Finally, place in an area that gets plenty of sunlight.
2. Watering: Water your vine weekly for the first 6 months. After this time, you will only need to water your plant when you get less than 1 inch of rain during the week.
3. Fertilizing: You can fertilize every spring with a 10-10-10 fertilizer.
4. Pruning: Prune only in late autumn or early winter as the flowers begin to fade and dry.
