    Buy It!

We couldn't be happier with our Red Baron tree. We live in the middle of Sac and planted it in the greenbelt between the sidewalk and the street. Everyone stops and takes photos of the gorgeous blossoms in the spring and it produces lovely fruit, ready right around the 4th of July. We fertilize, water, and prune it, but it doesn't require any more attention than that. Total winner.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertGorgeous spring blossoms and fresh peaches by the 4th of July is the dream and it sounds like your Red Baron is delivering every bit of it! We love that the whole neighborhood gets to share in the beauty. What a perfect tree in a perfect spot. Thank you for this wonderful review!

    I’m excited to find out

I’m excited to find out how the Red Baron trees perform in zone 9. I bought them for their low chill hour needs and just planted the trees in early spring of 2026 and they have settled in and began to grow, they will need a year or two to give me a better idea of what their spring bloom will look like and how much fruit production I can expect. One of the trees had a few fruit blooms but ultimately produced just one peach this year which is completely normal. The fruit of Red Baron variety is squatted and sort of pancaked in shape but is an ample sized fruit ,compared with my other varieties of peaches. I actually haven’t eaten it as I just picked it , but it looks delicious .

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Dale! We're so glad to hear you're excited about your Red Baron trees in zone 9. It sounds like they're off to a great start and we can't wait to see how they flourish in the coming years. Happy growing!
