Lovely Crape Myrtle
My Crape Myrtle is happy and healthy. It's already showing nice growth after a month. I like that it was sent in a pot with soil, not just a bare root ball. (It looks a little tousled in the first photo because it came in a crushed box; I fault FedEx, NOT fast growing trees). Despite the rough delivery, the tree is thriving. I decided to secure it to a stake since I was having windy weather when I planted it. It's probably ok on its own now, but I'll be keeping it secured through hurricane season just to be on the safe side. It's gonna make a lovely centerpiece to my yard.
