Midnight Rider™ Hydrangea Bush

1. Planting: Select a location that receives partial shade to full shade, preferably in well-draining soil. Dig a hole that's twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep, gently loosening the roots before placing the plant in the hole. Fill it back with soil, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil, then water thoroughly to settle the soil.

2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during warmer months. Hydrangeas typically prefer around an inch of water per week. During dry spells, ensure they are watered deeply, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot.

3. Pruning: Prune your Midnight Rider™ Hydrangea in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Remove any dead or weak stems, and shape the bush as desired. This will encourage healthier blooms and maintain a manageable size.

4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. A high-phosphorus fertilizer will help promote blooming. Be sure to follow package instructions to avoid over-fertilization, which can harm the plant.
