Taking off already
I received my 4-5 ft Jacaranda tree after it sat in a Fed Ed warehouse over a weekend, and even though the tree was well packed, all the branches were broken off and the leaves where dry and turned to dust in my hand, and were leaking from the box when the driver set it on my porch. Even so, the top leader and one branch remained, with a total of 20 tiny leaflets, and the soil was still moist. I was able to plant it the next day, according to the directions, I used a root stimulator and a week has gone by now. The leader is starting to show new branches already. I am thrilled. I hope the tree makes it through this winter, if it does it should live longer than me. All in all, the only real complaint I have is not having shipping options that don't include Fed-Ex.
Tough tree sapling so far,
Tough tree sapling so far, when received was quite please on the shipping process and condition of my tree. Had the opportunity to plant quickly so I did. Once done, water and mulch and good to go. So I thought, unfortunately we had a quick storm come through and it knocked down a dead branch on a nearby tree that knocked off / broke the top half of my new tree. Tried a clear tape fix, but it did not work and I had to eventually cut the damaged part off. With a constant careful eye the young tree is doing well and growing quite well. Tried to salvage the broken top and it did not work. Looking forward to this tree growing bigger and seeing its beautiful blooms.

Received the tallest in the range. It has fragile little leaves and needs watering more often than most trees but will be sooo beautiful when it blooms purple in spring and will look so airy when all green.
My Jacaranda Tree was delivered
My Jacaranda Tree was delivered in perfect shape & is doing really well. Unfortunately, do to other landscape work being done in it's future home, I had to temporarily plant it in a large pot. But it is still doing great and even has new growth! Thanks FGT
