Plant was packaged well. Looks good. Some leaves look a little stressed but probably due to shipping. I's very hot. I immediately put it in the ground with new potting soil for trees along with some regular potting soil. Gave it a good drink now I wait to see how it catches!!!
So excited about this smaller size
Our original regular sized redbud died last year, and I wanted one in an area I could see from my kitchen window. This new variety really fits the bill and I can’t wait until it’s old enough to bloom.
Beautiful Addition To My Garden
I planted this tree in September of 2022. It was 44" tall. Less than 3 years later, as you can see from the photos, it is flourishing. I've done no pruning at all - just letting it do its thing. Insects seem to leave this variety alone. We've had some pretty brutal heat this summer but this tree is showing almost no evidence of leaf scorch. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended.
