Vivid Green Foliage Adds Year-Round Interest and Appeal

The Duke Gardens Plum Yew is everything you could want in a landscape shrub! It is low maintenance, heat and drought tolerant, and extremely deer resistant. This compact evergreen boasts a gentle mounded shape and attractive soft, needle-like foliage.

The Duke Gardens Plum Yew has dense, glossy ornamental branches that emerge bright green before maturing to a darker hue. It retains its color year-round, adding interest and appeal in any space. It will thrive when planted in shade and is not particular about soil.

The dwarf Japanese Plum Yew was discovered growing naturally in the gardens of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, hence its name. It stays compact, growing slowly to about 4 feet tall and up to 6 feet wide. Multi-stemmed with a delicate texture, it is ideal for planting as an accent or natural screening.
