Dramatic, Easy-Growing Color
Why Crimson Pygmy Barberry Shrubs?
Exceptional dark red foliage and easy, carefree growth make the Crimson Pygmy Barberry a landscape designer favorite. From its incredible color to its pest and disease resistance, the Crimson Pygmy is a choice focal-point shrub.
No chemicals, no hassle, and no guesswork. When it comes to the Crimson Pygmy Barberry, you get beautiful dark red foliage in prime form without lifting a finger, along with a profusion of small yellow flowers in the spring. Purple berries follow the flowers, turning red in the winter and providing a source of food for graceful wildlife.
Even better is the fact that no shearing or pruning is needed. This colorful shrub is naturally compact and dwarf-sized, so it will never get overgrown. From driveway hedges to polished, sleek color tucked under window sills, the Crimson Pygmy makes an unparalleled impression.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Dig a hole large enough to accommodate your Crimson Pygmy's rootball, backfill the soil and water to settle the roots.
Generally, the Crimson Pygmy prefers well-drained soil and full to partial sun (4 to 6 hours of sunlight).
2. Watering: Let your soil dry to the touch down to about 2 inches in between waterings. Once your soil is dry, give your Crimson Pygmy a deep watering at the base.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize your Barberry at the beginning of every spring with a well-balanced fertilizer blend, and follow label instructions.

Crimson Pygmy Barberry
customer service was excellent. packaged nicely, arrived fast. ordered the 4 pack and placed in new gardens. can't wait to see them grow
Plant arrived looking very healthy
It arrived in great condition and once planted it seemed healthy and vigorous. I will buy another in the Fall.
We bought a home with lots of flowers but there are some places that need help for sure. (Years ago when we lived in one home in Maryland I had a clean slate and made it a jungle). The Barberry is healthy and is going to grow huge in a place where it will pretty much take over the weeds! Thanks sooooo much!
