Don't Buy Bare-Root Trees (learn why below)

Adds luck and fortune to your home

Money Trees are unique bonsais with braided trunks that lead up to a full canopy of lush, glossy green leaves to fill any space with vibrant color. They’re the perfect table or desktop tree for your home or office.

These miniature trees even arrive in decorative containers so they can instantly be put on display. No repotting or running out to buy a container, simply lift your tree out of its box and put it where it will look best.

Money Trees are extremely popular to give as gifts because, along with eye-catching beauty, they bring good luck and fortune to the home. They’re often given to friends and family members because they show them how much wealth and good fortune they give you.

Because of this tree’s space saving nature they can be kept anywhere. In smaller containers they stay small and will never outgrow their space. However, in bigger containers they can get up to 6 feet tall, making them the perfect accent piece for porches or patios.

This bonsai is nicknamed the ‘beginners bonsai’, because it’s incredibly low maintenance. Money Trees thrive indoors and require very little water and upkeep. They do best in rooms with bright, indirect light and their soil should begin to dry between watering sessions.

Great conversation piece
I have my money tree sitting in my living room. It is attractive and needs little maintenance. I love it. It seems to be growing fast.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Money Tree

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Money Tree .

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Money Tree gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Money Tree again after the transplant is complete.
