Grapevines

It’s growing nicely; it arrived in excellent shape! My grandson asked me when he can come by and eat some of his grapes so I told him about a year is that true?

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertWe love that your grandson is already excited about his grapes, Alexander! Your estimate of about a year is very reasonable. Many grape varieties start producing fruit within 1 to 2 years, so you're right on track. When the time comes, taste is the best way to know they're ready since grapes don't continue to ripen after picking. Pick a few berries from different clusters and if they taste sweet and full flavored, it's harvest time! We hope your grandson enjoys every single one!

Resilient AND fast growing!

This vine has made it through two single digit temp winters! Unfortunately I haven’t gotten to eat the grapes yet because the critters beat me to it but next year I’ll cover one vine with netting and hopefully get to enjoy some fresh grape juice!
