Produces Two Large Crops Each Year!
Why Sweetheart Blueberry Bushes?
With the Sweetheart Blueberry Bush, you get huge harvests each year under most conditions. A large bounty of fist-sized blueberry clusters arrives in late May or June and the second one in August, yielding around 15 pounds of blueberries per year.
The big, sweet berries are its main attraction. The Sweetheart Bush will produce medium to large sweet blueberries. The perfect hybrid of Southern and Northern Highbush varieties, the fruit is amazingly juicy and plump yet firm. If you like to bake blueberry muffins and make blueberry pancakes, these blueberries are ideal. The texture plus the rich flavor make them a favorite for cooking, but they're also a delicious snack picked right off the bush.

Fully and wholeheartedly recommend
I ordered three berry bushes from GGT and couldn't be more happy. From the beginning of my "research" to the planting of my new berries, the folks at FGT have been so helpful. The website has all the details needed to help make a proper choice for my growing area. The assistance received through from the person who took my order was so helpful. The plants I received were absolutely beautiful (I chose 2 gallon pots for both sweetheart highbush blueberries as well as the ever berry raspberries). And once received I called and spoke with April who gave me excellent information about planting and future care. We look forward to many years of harvest, and are now considering other trees as well.

Delivery was a Success
Plant came on time, in perfect condition with strong roots and budding.
Great, but we have a mole issue
We received our blueberry plants May 2025. Both were doing great and actually started to bud this year, even though the weather was unusually cold and just started warming again. It’s supposed to be back down into the upper 30s the next week or so. Unfortunately, a mole chewed through the biggest part of one of the trunks at the ground level, under the snow. Part of it is still intact. Hopefully, it will survive. We plan to get another. But they are healthy. We plan to place hardware cloth underneath the other and new ones we get. Hope I don’t have to do this with my cherry trees. They may be a little more challenging to dig up and replant.
I haven’t been able to
I haven’t been able to plant them yet have them in the sun a watering them! I am recovering from a broken leg and confined to the house in a walker! They are starting to leaf out! Hope to be able to plant in a few weeks. Thanks
