Snow Crystal® Crabapple Tree

1. Planting: Choose a location with full sun to partial shade, ideally in well-draining soil. Dig a hole that is twice the width of the root ball and about the same depth. Place the tree in the hole, ensuring that the top of the root ball is level with the ground. Backfill with soil, gently tamping down to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly after planting.

2. Watering: Ensure consistent moisture during the first growing season to help establish a strong root system. After the initial season, the Snow Crystal® Crabapple Tree is somewhat drought-tolerant, but regular watering during extended dry spells will keep it healthy and thriving. Aim to water deeply, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between sessions.

3. Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Focus on removing dead or damaged branches and thinning out crowded areas to improve airflow and light penetration. This will encourage healthier growth and a more attractive shape. Avoid heavy pruning to maintain the tree's natural form.

4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to promote healthy growth. Follow up with an additional feeding in late spring if needed, based on soil testing. Avoid excessive fertilization, as this can lead to overly vigorous growth and increased susceptibility to pests and diseases.
