Sunlight
Red Delicious Apples thrive in full sun, so make sure you plant in a spot that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day.

Watering
Water regularly each week when the soil gets dry 2-3 inches down. Make sure to water more often if the tree is potted or there is a period of drought.

Fertilizing
Follow label instructions on an apple-specific fertilizer, usually applying several times from April until August.
Grow Delicious Fruit Without the Wait
Why Red Delicious Apple Trees?
For one, it’s America’s favorite apple. The Red Delicious is widely grown because of its delicious flavor, fast and easy growth, as well as its adaptability to a variety of soil types.
That’s right: America's favorite snacking apple is low-maintenance and ultra-productive, too.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
Our Red Delicious Trees are in a league of their own because we plant, monitor and nurture them well from day one. Because we’ve grafted our varieties from proven mother stock, you get a consistent, high-quality performer that provides fruit in just one year. We even give your apple tree one final pruning before shipping at no additional cost to you. This process also allows the tree to remain "dwarfed," which makes harvesting a breeze!
And though you do need a pollinator to ensure your Red Delicious performs, we have the perfect pairing: Our Granny Smith Apple Tree. Another low-maintenance variety that offers the key for healthy, hearty, heavy fruit production.
Looking for a heavy performer of your own? Look no further – order your own Red Delicious Apple Tree today, before they’re gone!

Looked great and are growing
Looked great and are growing nicely
Red delicious thriving
Recieved a red delicious from FGT in great shape, it arrived little bare and has bloomed into a healthy looking tree with apples already growing on it! Very pleased (though I question the 'red delicious' apples growing green. . . trust the process?😆)
Apples
I purchased the Red Delicious Apple Trees when it was the BOGO sale and they arrived with healthy leaves. Unfortunately, the shipping company FOLDED the box and broke about a foot off of each tree. I submitted a form with Fast Growing Trees and they were wonderful! Sometimes things happen, but this company has ALWAYS worked well with me and resolved all of my issues. I trimmed off the broken branches and am 100% confident they will still thrive. They are looking good and I believe ready to get in the ground, but in VT there's still snow and frost in the forecast! I cant wait for more apples! I also really enjoy the grow bags they come in now. The dirt kind of fell out during shipping but it was crazy. As someone who tries to use less plastic this was a bonus for me! P. s. sorry for the horrible picture.
As Expected
Height and condition arrived as expected. Zero complaints on these specific trees from my order!
