1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a location with well-draining soil and partial to full sun for optimal growth. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and just as deep. Place the shrub in the hole, ensuring that the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface, then backfill and gently tamp down the soil.

2. Watering: Water the plant deeply after planting to help establish its roots. Following initial planting, keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy, particularly during the first growing season. Once established, reduce watering frequency while still ensuring adequate moisture, especially during hot weather.
