Bold Fall Colors for Street or Shade
Why Katsura Trees?
The Katsura Tree is a gorgeous Asian shade tree that’s easy to grow and tolerant of most soil conditions and environments. From its high-quality autumnal colors to its effortless upkeep, the Katsura is the quintessential plant-and-forget shade tree.
Even better? It's pollution tolerant, with a shallow root system. That means it's perfect for lining streets since it filters the air and won't destroy sidewalks or streets with invasive, deep root systems.
And it gives off a subtle yet enticing aroma. Imagine walking in your yard in fall and noticing an alluring smell of caramelized sugar and cinnamon. As your non-invasive, pest and disease resistant tree grows, it will embody the warm feeling of autumn with its large, colorful leaves and seasonal scent.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
For starters, our Katsura Tree grows as a pyramidal shape when young, so it even looks good before it’s established.
And since we've planted, grown and shipped it for best results, it's poised for a long, lush life in your own landscape. When it arrives at your door, it arrives ready-to-grow, with a healthier root system and more developed branching than what's available at your local nursery or big box store.
This popular tree is a no-brainer for those who want the good looks of fall without the work. Get your own Katsura Tree today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: For your Katsura Tree, select an area with full to partial sun (4 to 8 hours of sunlight) and well-drained soil.
When you're ready to plant your tree, dig a hole that's large enough to accommodate your tree's root ball, place your tree and backfill the surrounding soil. We recommend mulching to conserve moisture, and watering to settle the roots and finish the planting process.
2. Watering: Ensure your water your Katsura Tree regularly, about once or twice weekly, or more in drought conditions. If you're not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil about 5 inches down. If the soil is dry here, it's time to water your tree.
You can still order, but due to cold weather, we have delayed shipping to the areas shaded on the map below. We want your new plant to thrive right out of the box, so we will wait on shipping your order until the weather is ideal. This includes anyone in

I was pleasantly surprised at the height of the trees. They were taller than I expected. They look healthy. I'm really hoping they grow as beautiful as their pictures. Thanks for your prompt service.
Arrived looking very healthy and was exactly as described. It is planted and so far so good, looking great.
Very excited to get these trees and get them in the ground. Have been doing well so far with new growth already on the two I bought.
Great deal! Ordered a 6-7’ tree and it arrived in October last fall. It was definitely on the taller end of that range and looked spindly and thin and had a few light green and some coppery leaves. My family wondered why I spent $100 on a 7’ twig! I planted it in a very large planter (3’x3’) on casters and added root rocket and some tree fertilizer in a protected corner of my backyard where it could over winter. In March I started watering it every few days and have it more tree fertilizer. Come April in New York and it has been leafing out like crazy! Looks very healthy. It gets a bit of filtered morning light and then more direct sun in the late afternoon. It’s quite protected from the wind In its current location but I may roll it out to the patio later in the Summer. It’s a beautiful tree and I’m so happy that I got it at such a great price. At a local nursery I would pay triple.
The tree arrived in reasonable time with the pandemic going on. The leaves look good and it's grown a bit since I got it. Haven't planted it yet. But hope to soon.
