2 Year Old Asian Pear Tree
Tree is 2 years old this summer. Pruned out center main stem leaving three major outer branches. Tree set about 20 +/- pears this spring which I thinned to about a dozen. Was concerned as to whether it would self polinate but it appears to have done so with vigor. Looking forward to trying the pears later this summer!
Fingers Crossed
Purchased the Asian Pear Tree last summer. It arrived in an “ok” condition. I was a little worried abt it bc the leaves were browning and speckled. I called them, but they reassured me it was normal due to travel/shipping and to give it time. This is what it looks today! Just took the picture. Looks promising!
Pear flowers
Very pretty flowers and nicely wrapped when it was delivered. I got 6ft tree May 2025. This is how it looks like almost 1 year later. Hopefully it bears fruit soon! Although it might be a little too soon. It survived the multiple New York snow storms.
