Fall Color in the Summer
Why Flame Thrower® Redbud Trees?
Delivering rich fall color when most other varieties are plain green, the Flame Thrower® Redbud has all the great attributes of the Redbud...just in a bold new hue for your landscape.
Heart-shaped foliage emerges in a strong burgundy red that turns yellow, then green as it matures. As each leaf grows, you'll see a beautiful blend of multiple colors on every branch, setting your garden alight and giving you the best yard on the block.
In early spring, each branch of your Flame Thrower® welcomes the season with lovely reddish-purple flowers. That means you get color from month to month with your Flame Thrower®, with unbelievable elegance in spring and warm autumnal tones in summer.

Healthy and Beautiful Tree
Ordered one and loved it. Ordered 6 more. Arrived well packaged, in excellent condition, and ready to enjoy.
Such a beautiful specimen!
This tree took a little while to get settled in, I bought it August 2023. The first year we called her Stix because she literally had the tiniest few leaves and was mostly sticks. It took a while to come out of dormancy the first year. It is now May 2025 and she is so glorious! The leaves are fairly delicate so I recommend a place that has a little wind protection. I'm in Central Florida and mine gets morning sun and it does very well. I have a very windy backyard, being near the coast, and by the end of the season her leaves are pretty tattered compared to most of my other plants and trees but I just cannot stop staring at her out the window blowing in the breeze with every leaf being a different color, it's amazing just wow. ❤️

Unique Landscape Addition
I’ve always grown up with traditional eastern redbuds at my parents and grandparents houses, so when I saw this newer variety, I had to try it out. I’ve received many compliments and questions on what kind of tree it is and how beautiful and bright the leaves are. Through relocation and a stint of some disease, it has taken off in growth. These pictures are 2 years apart. Can’t wait to see it continue to grow
