Blankets of Fuchsia Blooms Welcome Spring

Why Eastern Redbud Trees?

Prized for its vibrant, purple-pink easter flowers that welcome the warmer months, the Eastern Redbud marks the change from winter to spring. In fact, it’s one of the first trees to bloom each year and it blooms on old wood, offering a breath of fresh air after the cold season.

But despite its delicate appearance, the Eastern Redbud is incredibly strong. It can thrive as far west as California, in parts of Florida, and even up north. It’s hardy down to -20 degrees and resists ice damage with ease. Plus, it’s adaptable to most soil types. You get its rounded, dense canopy, unique branching, and four seasons of color, with leaves that change throughout the season…without the upkeep and guesswork.

Even better is the Eastern Redbud’s ability to fit into smaller landscapes. Regardless of the space in your garden, you get the Redbud’s blankets of blooms, vibrant foliage, and unique spreading silhouette. Nothing can stop the Redbud from delivering blazing color in spring, summer, and fall.

Contact me again in 2 years

Tree arrived in excellent condition, or should I say my four ft stick arrived in great condition. I planted it right away and within one week have leaves starting on the branch and on the trunk. I laughed when I got it but to be fair I could have bought a bigger tree which may have looked more like tree. I’ve planted many trees before and I feel it’s going to be okay.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Susan, it's great to hear your tree arrived safely and is already leafing out. That early growth is always a great sign. With the Eastern Redbud Tree, it’s common for younger trees to arrive with a more minimal structure as they focus on establishing strong roots first. We appreciate your perspective, and it sounds like you already know what to look for. We’re confident it will continue to grow into a beautiful tree over time.
