Dramatic, Easy-Growing Color
Why Crimson Pygmy Barberry Shrubs?
Exceptional dark red foliage and easy, carefree growth make the Crimson Pygmy Barberry a landscape designer favorite. From its incredible color to its pest and disease resistance, the Crimson Pygmy is a choice focal-point shrub.
No chemicals, no hassle, and no guesswork. When it comes to the Crimson Pygmy Barberry, you get beautiful dark red foliage in prime form without lifting a finger, along with a profusion of small yellow flowers in the spring. Purple berries follow the flowers, turning red in the winter and providing a source of food for graceful wildlife.
Even better is the fact that no shearing or pruning is needed. This colorful shrub is naturally compact and dwarf-sized, so it will never get overgrown. From driveway hedges to polished, sleek color tucked under window sills, the Crimson Pygmy makes an unparalleled impression.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
Your Crimson Pygmy Barberry is delivered with a healthier, more developed root system because the hard work in growing has been done long before you order.
Unlike the Crimson Barberry selection at your local big-box retailer, your Crimson Pygmy arrives with better branching. Now, it's ready to grow as soon as it arrives at your door.
The Crimson Pygmy Barberry is the perfect solution for tight spaces and easy color...but don't wait. Order your own Crimson Pygmy Barberry today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Dig a hole large enough to accommodate your Crimson Pygmy's rootball, backfill the soil and water to settle the roots.
Generally, the Crimson Pygmy prefers well-drained soil and full to partial sun (4 to 6 hours of sunlight).
2. Watering: Let your soil dry to the touch down to about 2 inches in between waterings. Once your soil is dry, give your Crimson Pygmy a deep watering at the base.
3. Fertilizing: Fertilize your Barberry at the beginning of every spring with a well-balanced fertilizer blend, and follow label instructions.
