Arrived in good shape. The deer destroyed them.
These arrived in great shape. However, the deer immediately stripped them of leaves the night after planting. I'm going to put fence around new ones I have coming. Then I'll spray them With that nasty smelling deer repellent.
GREAT Addition To The Birdscape
This was my second purchase of a pair of red chokecherries. The first pair, which is just beginning its second growing season, is doing spectacularly well, very full, the picture of vigor, and fast growing. I expect this latest purchase to do just as well. All products received from FGT have been consistently excellent in quality. The FTG method of developing a strong root system in the nursery really makes a difference. Everything they sell does very well in the landscape.

Update to my October review
I’m so excited to see these trees bloom. I planted them in October. We had perfect weather. Not too cold but consistently drizzly. I’m in northern IL and the buds started emerging about 10 days ago.
Came in good shape
Arrive nicely. Just in time for first frost. Dropped its leaves. Hope it comes back healthy in the spring
