Low-Profile Treegator Prevents Transplant Shock

When you're making an investment and effort in planting new trees in your landscape, you can assure their survival and growth by using Treegator - a truly simple and innovative drip irrigation system in a bag.

Treegator's benefit kicks in instantly to help your new tree through the shock and stress that comes from transplanting it, releasing the proper amount of water directly to the root structure where it is needed most.

Depending on the size and shape of your new tree or shrub, choose between two options:

  • Original Treegator
  • Treegator Jr.

The Original Treegator holds 15 gallons of water and only needs to be filled once or twice per week. It's perfect for trees from 1-3 inches in diameter. For larger trees up to 8 inches in diameter, just zip two Tree Gator bags together!

The Treegator Jr. is lower-profile, making it ideal for shorter trees and shrubs. It also holds 15 gallons of water and can support trees and shrubs up to 5 inches in diameter.

With hot summers and droughts the norm around the country, Treegator is an absolute necessity to protect your new trees and shrubs. You will not have to worry about whether you have provided your tree enough water, and you can go on vacation and relax knowing that this nifty drip system is taking all the anxiety out of caring for your landscaping.

The Treegator is super easy to install without any tools, and it can easily be filled up with a standard garden hose or can even be connected to a rain barrel! It's a super time saver that takes the worry out of continually remembering whether you've watered your new tree or not. Plus, all the water that goes into the drip bag is used up with no waste, so TreeGator is environmentally friendly with regard to water use.

Don't wait - get yours with your new purchase today!

Your Treegator Slow Release Watering Bag will discharge water from the two elbow-shaped PVC emitters. If your Treegator bag is emptying faster than expected, ensure your bag is completely full of water, and confirm that the emitter nozzles are inserted correctly and/or are not missing. Ensuring your Treegator is placed on a flat surface can also help regulate watering - it will drain faster when placed on a slope.

Our Tree Savior

One of our evergreen trees was so root bound from its original burlap wrap that our arborist recommended a daily dose of slow drip water in addition to regular watering. The TreeGator saved our tree!! I refill it every other week and our tree gets the extra water where it is especially needed without wasting water.

Great and Convenient!

We love our Tree Gator Jr.! It takes the guesswork out of watering our new Maple Tree, which is growing nicely. We tend to overwater and the Gator solves this problem. Thanks FGT for the great products and your excellent service! We highly recommend the Tree Gator Jr.

A must have for deep watering new trees...

We included this TreeGator in our first tree order and we're very glad we did! It's made watering a breeze and works just as advertised. Holds a lot of water that drips out very slowly (at least 8 hours) and looks nicer than the diy bucket system we use in the back yard. Can't speak to longevity since we just got it a few weeks ago, but we'll likely purchase more as we add more trees to our property. My only complaint is that the cap can be really hard to open, but at least that means it seals well.

This is a great product, I am glad I purchased it even if I only use it from time to time. I do wonder if it shouldn't have more drip outlets rather than just the 2, it seems to be enough, however. I was half expecting there to be a strip of stuff like the weeping hoses underneath that slowly let the water out. Regardless of my musings I do think it is an excellent product, sturdy and very useful particularly with the recent drought conditions.
