1. Planting: Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil for optimal growth. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and deep enough to place the crown of the rose slightly above the soil level. Backfill the hole gently, making sure to eliminate air pockets. Water thoroughly after planting to help establish roots.

2. Watering: Maintain consistent moisture in the soil, especially during the first growing season. Water deeply once a week, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out before the next watering. In extremely hot weather, you may need to adjust your watering schedule to keep the plant hydrated.

3. Pruning: Prune in early spring before new growth begins. Remove dead or weak branches and shape the bush to promote an open center for better air circulation. Aim for a balance of greenery and blooms; avoid cutting too much of the woody stems to ensure continuous flowering.

4. Fertilizing: Feed your Pilgrim® Rose with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth begins. A repeat application mid-season can encourage more blooms. Be cautious not to over-fertilize, as this can lead to excessive foliage growth at the expense of flowers.
