Nordmann Fir Tree

1. Planting: Choose a planting site that offers partial to full sunlight, and ensure the soil is well-drained. Dig a hole that is twice the width of the root ball and just as deep. Gently place the tree in the hole, making sure it is level with the ground. Backfill with soil and water thoroughly.

2. Watering: Water the Nordmann Fir regularly during its first season to establish a solid root system. In cooler climates, the tree needs less frequent watering, but during dry spells, ensure the soil remains consistently moist, especially in summer months when the tree is less tolerant of heat.

3. Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and remove any dead or damaged branches. Avoid heavy pruning, as the Nordmann Fir naturally has a beautiful shape that doesn't require excessive intervention. Light trimming can help promote new growth.

4. Fertilizing: Feed your tree with a balanced fertilizer in early spring to promote healthy growth. Be careful not to over-fertilize, as this can lead to weak growth. If your soil is nutrient-rich, fertilization may only be necessary every couple of years.
