Pretty ground cover but a little disappointed

The plants arrived healthy. Can't say enough about how quickly the plants arrive and they shape they are in. I ordered these in March and planted w/in a few days. I have a hill that I thought would be perfect for this plant. All but 1 survived which I don't understand. It was the last one on the slope and I thought it would do the best. Unfortunately, it didn't make it so I put some artificial flowers in there for now. I will definitely order again next year but didn't understand why this one didn't make it. You can see the blue fescue in the background which has done very well (see separate review on that).
