Cold Hardy Avocado Tree

With the cold hearty avocado, you don't know which one you will get until it arrives. I received the Bacon Avocado. I planted it in December 2025. It is advertised as cold hardy. We had a couple of days with lows in the upper teens in North Florida. I took precautions to mitigate exposure. The tree survived. I must admit it looked rough after winter. I wasn't sure if it would make it. Every leaf was partially brown. When spring rolled around, lots of new growth emerged. The tree is flowering in it's first year. The old browning leaves are falling off and have been replaced by lots of young new leaves.

Everything I have planted with Root Rocket is thriving! Anything I didn't use it on is dead. . . stands to reason that Root Rocket is essential! (grow zone 9 - HARD clay in these parts)

My Two Trees showed up The day before Christmas perfectly packaged and in great shape. We had a tough time figuring out where to plant them. It took a month of them sitting on the porch before we planted them. They still look amazing after being in the ground two weeks. The only issue I have now is The deer think they look great too! Originally I was concerned about them adjusting to the Area. No Problems here. I will definitely purchase again
