Really nice, but…

I am very pleased with the Arbequina Olive tree I received. It already has a huge number of olives on it. While I understand the nature of the tree is a slender trunk with a wide canopy, I am reluctant to remove the stabilizing rod for the trunk, fearing the trunk will bend and possibly break. Any suggestion on how to tell when the trunk is strong enough?

Seeing a young Arbequina Olive Tree pushing out such an abundant crop of fruit completely makes our day. You are exactly right to be cautious about removing the stake right now. Because those gorgeous olives are adding a lot of top-heavy weight to a young, slender trunk, keeping the support rod in place until after harvest is the safest move to prevent any accidental bending or snapping. A great way to test the trunk's strength down the road is to gently hold the lower trunk and give it a soft tug. If it feels rigid and springs right back into place when you let go, it is building the structural wood it needs. Thank you for your business, and enjoy your olive harvest!

Got help with a damaged shipment

Received my olive tree today and upon opening the box discovered one of the main top branches were broken, there's an orange identification tag and it looks like whoever put that tag on cause the breakage. Contact the customer service immediately and they couldn't have been more helpful. Within minutes a replacement was processed and now I wait for hopefully a damage free specimen. I must say customer service was on point and great. Thank you
