I love my Olive tree

My olive tree! I love it so, so very much. I was very worried about the condition it would arrive in and it was just as beautiful and healthy as can be. I wanted it very much for this space it’s in right now, as seen in the picture but now I’m afraid it’s not going to have enough sunlight. It only gets about two hours a day. It is on wheels so I could roll it outside once a week for a full eight hours of sunshine, but would moving it that often be bad on it? I could set up a little grow light and have it on at night when we’re all sleeping. Worried but happy plant parent 😂

To keep it thriving in your space, we recommend avoiding the weekly trip outside. Moving a plant abruptly from 2 hours of indoor light to 8 hours of intense outdoor sun can shock the foliage and cause severe leaf drop or sunburn. Setting up a full-spectrum grow light indoors is an absolute game-changer! Just be sure to run the grow light during daytime hours (12–14 hours a day) rather than at night; olive trees need a natural dark period each night for healthy respiration. You’ve got this!
