Yes! Most crape myrtle trees feature drought resistant properties, though as they get established to your landscape, they may need a bit more attention, especially during the hot summer season. Once established, they can survive on rainfall alone, but we recommend watering once or twice weekly while they're young.

Exact timing of your crape myrtles blooms will vary depending on your chosen variety, the tree’s planting conditions, and your area’s unique mico-climate, however, most crape myrtles come to life with blooms in late spring, generally around mid-May to early June.
