A nutritious nut perfect for snacking

Pistachios are the irresistible nut, with a flavor that starts off nutty with a bold sweetness, and salty after taste that's too tantalizing for most to only eat one. The thin white shells are fun to crack, revealing an exciting green nut that's fun and delicious to eat.

The healthy benefits of pistachios almost eclipse the aromatic flavors. Pistachios are little nuts filled with huge amounts of heart healthy fatty acids, B vitamins for energy, fiber and more. This is the snack that grows in abundance that you don't have to feel guilty about eating.

The Uzbek Pistachio tree provides pounds of nuts and luscious green foliage that grows in an oval shape, making it the ideal addition to any landscape. These low maintenance trees provide beauty and shade with the ability to thrive in a variety of poor soils, even those heavy in salinity.

Grow your own Uzbek Tree in the north or south. These hardy trees can withstand both cold temperatures down to -10 degrees F up north and the hot, dry temperatures and conditions down in the south.

Every spring the Uzbek erupts with hundreds of tiny green blooms that turn into hardy pistachios. Bright and fuzzy husks grow with eye catching bright red splotches. The color jumps out and catches the eye, providing color among the summer landscape. Pistachios sit inside of the husks with their thin white shells waiting to be cracked and enjoyed, either eaten fresh, roasted, and even in delicious recipes.

Due to the popularity of these nuts, Uzbek Pistachio trees sell out fast. Order yours, before they're gone!

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Uzbek Pistachio

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Uzbek Pistachio .

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Uzbek Pistachio gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Uzbek Pistachio again after the transplant is complete.

Can this tree grow in a pot?
