Deep Red Roses Without The Fuss

The Red Drift® Rose is the easiest rose you'll ever grow. If you've ever grown roses, you know it isn't easy. The Red Drift® Rose is unlike any other rose because it is easy to grow. You'll get enticing fragrance and irresistible beauty without the annoying maintenance. This rose is an easy to maintain, adaptable plant that will work well in any part of your garden.

Forget about complicated pruning. Whether you choose to plant your Red Drift® in a pot, a hanging basket or in your yard, you won't have to worry about frustrating pruning. This rose doesn't produce any hips, so all you have to do is snip off some branches in the winter and watch your flowers grow.

Rich red flowers bloom all throughout the year. The bloom season for the Red Drift® Rose is April-November, where you'll get 5 cycles of beautiful, deep red flowers. The Red Drift® produces loads of small blooms in the most vibrant colors of any of the drift® varieties.

Cover your ground in color and get some height too. The Drift® rose varieties are a combination of a miniature rose bush and ground cover roses. Unlike other ground cover plants, you'll get around 2 feet of height with your Red Drift® Rose and a spread of 3-5 feet. The manageable size, that adapts to where you place it, makes it the perfect plant for so many uses.

Add color and life to any part of your landscape. The uses of the Red Drift® Rose are only limited by your imagination. Plant them in a pot for a pop of color on your porch. Plant them in front of columnar green plants for a great contrast of color and shape. Transform boring areas of your yard with a garden of thick, full roses.

There's no frustrating diseases or pests to worry about. The Red Drift® Rose is so disease resistant; you don't even need to think about it. Most roses require frequent fungus and pesticide spraying, which just adds too much to the already long maintenance list for many gardeners. The Red Drift® requires absolutely zero spraying.

Take it from Disney, this plant is an easy choice. Disney parks are full of Drift® Roses. If you've even been to one of their parks, you've certainly seen their bright colors adding excitement to the amusement landscape. Disney has a strong commitment to being chemical free, so you can feel confident that these roses will grow without toxic spraying.

Everyone wants a Red Drift® Rose. Now that the Red Drift® Rose has made its way to the market, everyone is flocking to buy one. Gardeners once afraid of the chore of roses are excited by the easiness of growing this gorgeous and adaptable plant. Don't be left out. Order several today!

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Red Drift® Rose

Red Drift® Rose Planting Diretions

Planting Instructions: Plant your Red Drift® Rose in a place that will receive full sun for 6-8 hours a day. The sunnier the spot, the better for your Red Drift® Rose. If planting in the ground, plant in soil that is rich in organic mater; if necessary, amend the soil with compost.  If planting in a basket or pot, use potting soil. When planting in the ground, place in a hole that is twice as big as the root ball, so the plant will have room to grow. When planting multiple Drift® Rose plants together, space them 3'-5' apart. Water deeply immediately after planting. Place a 1-3" layer of mulch around the base of the plant to keep out weeds and maintain moisture.

Watering: Water frequently. The Red Drift® is not finicky about watering, but for the best results, be sure to not let the soil get over-soaked in standing water or completely dry.

Fertilization: Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer twice a year. Fertilizing at the beginning of spring and then again in late summer will ensure the best growth.

Pruning: In early spring, right before the first bloom, cut off 1/3 of the branches. Simply take a pair of hedging shears and completely cut off branches evenly around the plant. This will help maintain the shape and fullness of the blooms. Don’t feel intimated by this step as pruning the Red Drift® Rose is easy and you can't do it wrong.

When is the best time to plant outdoors ?
Jody S on Dec 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Since it is Winter right now, I would suggest the best time to plant your Red Drift Rose would be the 3rd week of April or the 1st 2 weeks of May. That would be ideal for this plant.
