A Functional Easy to Grow Plant whether Indoors or Outdoors!

The Dwarf Umbrella Tree is an adaptable gem perfect for growing indoors! With its no fuss maintenance and year round glossy dark green leaves, this joyful plant will add life to your home!

An Exotic Houseplant with Plenty of Versatility
These plush green plants can be grown as bushes or trees. You can grow it as a bonsai and even train the trunk to be braided to form the elegant look of a Ficus, (and is much easier to care for than the Ficus.) It prefers bright sun, but the only repercussion for too little light is a few dropped leaves.  It will quickly adjust if watered adequately.

Amazing Indoor Accent Piece
Add a touch of nature to your home or office. Keep it trimmed for a lovely table-top plant, or let it expand into an accent or entrance-way container plant.

Privacy Option that Blooms
If you’re looking for an attractive climbing plant that allows privacy to your patio or pool, the Umbrella Plant has plenty of durable foliage that grows quickly. It even trains well into an espalier on the wall of a building, along a fence, or trellis.

Grown in the warmer climates of growing zones 10-11 outdoors, this umbrella plant fills in, ultimately producing 12 to 16 leaflets from a single stalk.  The stems grow upwards and out in a symmetrical circle like an unfolded umbrella. The plush greenery is accompanied by long red tentacles that look like flowers in bloom.

Remove Toxins from the Air
Breathe easier with this amazing plant in your midst.  NASA’s Clean Air Study found that common indoor plants are instrumental in filtering out harmful toxins and pollutants from the air.  We can’t think of a better way to enjoy cleaner air than with this visually interesting and easy to maintain plant.

Extremely competitively priced for a short time.  Order 2 or 3 today!

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Dwarf Umbrella Tree - Schefflera

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Dwarf Umbrella Tree - Schefflera.

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Dwarf Umbrella Tree - Schefflera gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Dwarf Umbrella Tree - Schefflera again after the transplant is complete.
