1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Prepare the soil by loosening it and mixing in organic matter. Dig a hole that is twice the width of the root ball. Place the plant in the hole, ensuring that the crown is level with the soil surface, and backfill gently. Water thoroughly after planting to eliminate air pockets.

2. Watering Water the plant regularly, especially during dry spells. Consistent moisture will encourage lush growth and vibrant foliage. Aim for the soil to be evenly moist but not soggy, as overly wet conditions can lead to root rot.

3. Pruning Deadheading is not necessary for this perennial, but you can trim off the spent flower spikes to keep the plant looking tidy. In early spring, remove any damaged or dead leaves to promote fresh growth as new foliage emerges.

4. Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring to encourage healthy growth.
