Sunlight
North Pole Columnar Apples thrive in full sun, so make sure you plant them in a spot that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day.

Watering
As soon as you see newer growth coming out of the tree, you can water whenever the top 2 inches of the soil feels dry. Water slowly to ensure even moisturizing of the soil.

Fertilizing
Follow label instructions on an apple-specific fertilizer, usually applying several times from April until August.

Why North Pole Apple Trees?
With an elegant columnar shape and a compact size, the North Pole Columnar Apple Tree gives you sweet, flavorful fruit and visual interest for any outdoor space.
The North Pole Columnar Apple is a narrow, vertical apple tree covered in deep-green foliage. With little branching, it continues growing upright, for a unique and eye-catching shape.
Spring brings fragrant white flowers, followed in late summer and fall by impressive clusters of glossy red fruit. These apples are sweet, crisp and fragrant - perfect for cider, applesauce, pies and snacking fresh off the tree.
Growing up to 10-12 feet tall and just 1-2 feet wide, the North Pole Columnar Apple tree makes a statement in any landscape - however, it performs just as well in containers on patios or balconies.
This tree can produce fruit in the first year, but will need an additional pollinator - pair with any other variety of apple tree for abundant fruit production.

North pole
I purchased this tree last spring along with 2 other columnar apples and they all came in excellent shape! I did get some flowers and even got 2 small apples on the other variety. This year they are all FULL OF BUDS which are already starting to bloom and I am so excited! I actually have 2 more columnar apples added to the group for this year!
Nice tree
so far it's just pretty... pretty hot and dry but they seem to be ok
Came perfect
This tree had a couple tiny apples on it when it arrived. They fell off before ripening but it has lots of leaves and appears to be thriving in its pot on my patio.
I am very happy currently.
