The First Bright Pink Blooms of Spring
Why Pink Dogwood Trees?
Signaling the start of spring with a wave of bright blooms, the Pink Dogwood Tree is an iconic flowering variety. But unlike other springtime bloomers, you get unbelievable color variation.
This Dogwood’s flowers begin as a light pink and then get slightly deeper as your tree ages...never giving you the same color twice! These blooms are especially remarkable against the Dogwood’s vibrant greenery and broad, upright growth habit. And in autumn, you still get color with red leaves that set your landscape ablaze.
Gray stems with bright red fruit and cinnamon-checkered bark welcome winter and entices graceful wildlife, like songbirds and cardinals. With the low-branching, naturally symmetrical Pink Dogwood, you get four seasons of vibrancy and good looks.
And you get this month-to-month interest hassle-free since this tree thrives in any soil type, tolerates drought, and keeps growing down to -10 degrees. Forget spending hours planting and toiling in your garden – with the Pink Dogwood, you get a professional look with virtually no upkeep.

So far so good. . .
We received this in the fall. Followed our local Sacramento Tree Foundation method of planting it, with a pedestal and a large round hold at least 12" deeper around it and 4' wide. We have really poor clay soil, so we amended it with lots of organic matter, tucked it in snug and watered to settle the soil. It bloomed this past spring and is lovely dark green. It's late April in Zone 9 and no flowers this year, but I would expect that and hope in a year or two to at least get a few buds. We bought this to plant at the corner of our home in lieu of our utility putting in ugly parking lot style barricades in our front yard next to our natural gas regulator. Can't wait for it to bloom and have berries for us and the birds. We have a lot of native song birds in our yard because of sun flowers that keep self-sowing. More food for the birds! All in all, it came with only a small lower branch bent and broken, and some of the branches were crossing on the interior, so I trimmed the back to give it a good start in February. Would purchase again.
Pink Dogwood
Bought fall last year 6-7 foot. Early spring this year she bloomed and has beautiful leaves. She seems to be doing good
Great!
Nice height and shape👍👍👍
Pink dogwood
Arrived in great shape already budding. Within a couple of weeks full leaf canopy. Looking forward to next spring blooms!
A memorial tree.
This weekend, Easter, we plated a pink dogwood tree in memory of my Mother who passed away last month from metastatic bone marrow carcinoma (breast cancer migrated to her bones). She loved pink dogwoods and had a iconic one in her front yard at our family home. We ordered this sturdy young tree from you and planted it in our new homes' front yard with intention of adding her ashes to the soil once we get them so she can continue to watch over her adult children and young grandchildren as they grow and play. Hopefully this tree will one day stand tall and strong, brilliant and bright, full of color and front and center, just like she always was.
