Perfume Princess® Daphne Shrub

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a well-draining location with partial to full sun. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball and gently loosen the roots before placing the plant in the hole. Backfill with soil, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil. Water thoroughly after planting.

2. Watering: Water regularly in the first few months to help establish roots. Once established, Daphne Perfume Princess™ prefers moderate watering. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, but avoid letting it become completely dry.

3. Pruning: Regular pruning encourages dense growth. Tackle any dead or damaged stems in late winter, but avoid heavy pruning; light shaping can be done after flowering to maintain the desired size and encourage new growth.

4. Fertilizing: Use a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to support healthy growth and vibrant blooms. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers which can lead to leggy growth. Fertilize again in late summer if needed to promote blooming.
