Is True To Its Name
Autumn Joy Sedum brings JOY to the garden. Living in the Southwest, I have found my most favorite plant! This sedum thrives despite soaring temperatures and endless sunshine. The blossoms are AMAZING! They are beautiful and long lasting. Specific to the company- Fast Growing Trees customer service is efficient and accountable to the quality of its plants and trees. Clearly, purchases are packaged with great care. The company has to partner with the postal service and here lies potential issues. Two of my three most recent purchases arrived in smashed up boxes, the sedum being one. The plants were smashed up as well. Pitiful looking. I planted them none-the-less, hoping with consistent care they would eventually flourish. They have! Had it been otherwise, Fast Growing Trees customer service was willing to replace the purchase and indicated they were going to address this with their postal carrier.
Lovely and sturdy
This is such an amazing performer. It's been so hot and so dry here in the runup to the rainy season and these sedum are just happy while most everything else is struggling. Hopefully they survive the rains too. The ones in full sun do best but the ones shaded by other plants are also healthy. Overall just a 10/10 for zone 10.
My Sedum
I have it on my porch. As soon as the soil is warm enough I will plant it. It was beat up a bit in transit. However, with a little care and understanding that this is a hardy plant, it recovered after about 12-days.
