The tree was beautiful when it came. I had to hold off planting it for several days due to heavy rainfall. Planted tree after 2 days off dry weather. Two days after it was planted it started raining again and now have had part of a tropical storm come through. Try is getting way to much water.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi David, heavy rain right after planting can cause temporary leaf droop from waterlogged soil. Just let the ground dry out completely before watering again, ensure water drains away from the trunk, and keep mulch pulled back 2 inches from the main stem. Your cherry tree will bounce right back as the soil balances out! Feel free to connect with us if you ever need further care advice down the road.
