Healthy Elderberry Bush
My order came very quickly. I ordered 2 elderberry bushes that were shipped together. They were packed well except FedEx can’t read the outside of the box on the care of the shipment. The box should have been straight but was bent in the middle consequently causing broken branches on the bushes. I unpacked them right away and they were very healthy. I gave them water and planted them 2 days later because it was so windy I didn’t want to shock them. Overall they seem to be growing well, I see new growth on both bushes. I have a lot of wildlife (geese, deer, rabbits, beavers, etc) in my backyard so I spray them with deer/rabbit repellent. Because it’s been so dry, I have to drag a 75’ hose to water them.
Fantastic!
One years growth! Planted this 2 gallon elderberry at the end of my French drain and it has grown exponentially in one year. I got two and the other is planted in another area and is probably 1/3 this size but still very healthy and has multiple flowers.
My friend Marge
Newly planted. Looks great now. Holding judgement until it shows new growth and vigor.
It arrived healthy and in
It arrived healthy and in just a few days started to exploded with leaves. . . . it was larger than I expected. It's too early to review the fruit but I must say it sure is a very very healthy plant! I love FGTs! They NEVER disappoint!
