Bloombux® Blush Rhododendron Bush

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Dig a hole about twice the width of the root ball and just as deep. Place the plant gently in the hole, ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil. Backfill with a mixture of compost and native soil, then spread a 3 inch settled layer of mulch around the plant to conserve moisture, insulate roots, and suppress weeds. Water thoroughly after planting.

2. Watering: Water the Bloombux® Blush deeply after planting, ensuring the soil stays moist but not soggy. During the first few growing seasons, regular watering is essential to establish strong roots. Once established, reduce watering frequency; however, ensure it's watered during prolonged dry spells.

3. Pruning: Rhododendrons flower on old wood. Prune lightly after flowering, removing any dead, diseased, or crossing branches as needed.

4. Fertilizing: A balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring will help support robust growth and flower production. Follow package instructions for application rates. Be cautious not to over-fertilize, as it can lead to excessive foliage growth at the expense of blooms.
