Baby 1-2 foot giant

I just received my baby, baby giants that are 1-2 feet tall. I was really surprised by the tiny size and that it's basically a single stem, but that's on me for not doing more research about what I was going to receive. All 4 plants were packed well and appear healthy. I repotted them in larger containers because they're too tiny to safely plant in my yard - hopefully next year.

Please give yourself a huge pat on the back because your plan to repot them into larger containers for their first year is an absolute pro-gardener strategy! When evergreens are at the 1 to 2-foot stage, they naturally start as a single, main vertical stem. Letting them mature in a controlled container gives their root systems a wonderful head start and protects them from hungry critters, lawnmowers, or harsh weather while they are small. The good news is that these trees are famous for a reason. Once their roots get established, they can grow up to 3 feet per year, and that single stem will quickly start filling out into a dense, beautiful pyramidal shape. Thank you for your purchase, and we look forward to seeing them jump into your landscape next year!
